Frank Iero was always one to sweep things under the rug, and that included his emotions. When his boyfriend, Gerard Way, commits suicide via car accident after a downward spiral that was blissfully hidden in plain sight, Frank has to go through the different stages of grief. Gerard's brother, Mikey, can't let go, and dabbles in the art of resurrection.
Sometimes, though, the dead are simply dead . . .
. . . and it's better off this way.

Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him whole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about.
