Suki has always been optimistic for her future. Sure life was hard for her now, but she knew things would change for the better once she became a pro hero. Becoming a hero will show the world that she isn't- never was and never will be- like her father, Hero Killer: Stain.
Suki hated the constant torment from her peers about how "she will become villain just liked her father" and "her quirk is perfect for a villain." She swore she would never allow herself to ever come near to being like the poor excuse of a human she called her father.
Getting into UA was the first step Suki needed to show everyone that she was going to become a hero. She kept her guard up and did her best to keep her bloodline a secret from her fellow students. She knew she had to work extra hard to build and keep the trust of those around her.
Suki wasn't going to be "the daughter of Hero Killer: Stain" anymore, she was going be "Ketsuki, pro hero."
