*~*~* REWRITTEN AND PUBLISHED AS HUNTINGTON AVENUE ON MY PROFILE *~*~* Zachary West has it all. Near-perfect grades, a kind, loving family, and is a guitar prodigy. Seems like a wonderful life, right? Most good things come with at least one catch, though: He's blind. Following a move from Washington to New York, Zach struggles to fit in with everyone else. Little did he know that high school across the country would be extremely different than back home. He would endure new town, new home, new friends, but also new hardships. Will Zach find a way to fit in with his new surroundings? Then, there's Kelsey Davis, one of the popular girls of the school. She's beautiful, charming, and, of course, she can be a bit questionable. Luckily, there's almost always a side to people that nobody sees. Hanging out with the wrong crowd has gotten to Kelsey's nerves, but she doesn't want to leave her friends. Having such a reputation with the entire school has extremely high standards, and she can't meet them anymore. Will everything change when she notices a unique boy among the crowds who might need a friend? *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Disclaimer: This is the very first book that I ever wrote. It was created in the Fall of 2018 by a 15-year-old girl who had no idea how to construct and develop a story. They met by accident...by chance. The campus of UNC was busy that day. Everyone was in a hurry. Especially the two juniors that would collide and ultimately change their lives. Brooklyn Morgan, a talented but struggling singer-songwriter, whose soulful lyrics go merely unnoticed in a world full of big artists. For Brooklyn, the bar stages are small, the paychecks are meager, and the future seems uncertain. But she clings to her music in hopes it'll be worth one day. Across campus, you could find Alessia Russo on the field every day. An England native was living the American dream. She had everything going for her. She was a part of England's under-21 squad, on the verge of making her senior debut, and huge clubs were looking at her to sign. One morning though, one was in a rush to get to her class and one was in a rush to get to practice, they run into each other. Something about the clumsy English girl took Brooklyn by surprise, and something about the American made Alessia's head spin. It's from there on, a connection is made. Their lives of now sitting in the stands and sitting in the crowd forms. However, when Alessia forgoes her senior year to play in England, the connection they had fades and they become a small memory to each other. But what happens when Brooklyn's finally selling out stadiums and one of them happens to be Wembley? What happens when they meet each other again for the first time in two years? What happens when the connection they had runs deeper than they first thought originally? What happens when they're right next to each other but feel as though they're worlds apart?
