In 1939-1945, Ophelia Mariè Baudelaire, a French ballerina studying at the Teatr Wielki, in Warsaw, is caught in the crossfire as the Nazis overrun Poland. Hoping to survive long enough for the nations to make amends, she aids away with the help of her teacher and flees to Berlin, with the intent to reach France. There she's hesitantly taken in by a retired German philosopher who passes her off as his granddaughter. However, residing in enemy land is proven difficult as she's forced to greet her invaders as they gather to witness the fall of France.

Will Ophelia manage to return to France and find her family or will she also crumble under the cruel circumstances of war?

Piano keys were her childhood, but the grasp of a pistol was her reality. Polish SOE Agent, Natia Filipska, has lurked among the rubble and the shadows of her occupied-Warsaw for years, ever since the war started and ripped her from the life that had guaranteed happiness and opportunity. The SOE took her in, as well as her two siblings, Klimeck and Ryzshard, arming them with a fighting spirit, and a chance at survival, at a life where they could avenge the ones that were taken. Being apart of the Cichociemni came next, Elite Polish Paratroopers, and it was their ticket home. Ever since her feet had then touched the ground, she had been fighting with her home and her people - the Polish Home Army. The Warsaw Uprising got her captured, and then being on the run nearly got her killed - her only ally was the pistol at her side. The Dutch Resistance of Eindhoven, Holland housed her, but it would never be her home. Upon liberation though, her path crossed with an Airborne Infantry - the 101st Airborne Division - the Screaming Eagles - American men. To ensure her safety back to Warsaw, Poland and her family, Easy Company and their men might be her only hope. But hope was lost long ago. ------------------------- " Well, I've been 'fraid of changin' 'Cause I've built my life around you But time makes you bolder Even children get older And I'm gettin' older, too...." - Landslide, Fleetwood Mac ---------- mature themes are held within the context of this story that may be triggering to some people: death, smoking, alcohol, killings, and severe depression, along with mental health issues. --------- band of brothers + oc's { October 2nd 2020 } UPDATES BEGIN - Fridays starting 10 - 2 - 20 started: 7/4/20 ended: n/a ------------------------ NEW COVER!!! done by ME!!! credits on words by @swedeandspicy

Asya is the most promising ballerina the Royal Ballet has seen in years. Wildly ambitious, back-breakingly disciplined, and immensely driven, she has only one objective: prima ballerina. There is nothing she won't do to earn this once-in-a-generation title. But behind her ballerina grace she hides dark secrets of an inhumanly strict mother, pushing her body to cruel limits, and serial hookups with male dancers. Roman Zharnov is the star of the Russian ballet: young, successful, arrogant, beautiful, and worst of all, talented. He's come to London to clean up his reputation after a drug scandal nearly cost him his career. At the Royal Opera House he crosses paths with Asya, a nineteen-year-old soloist with spitfire in her eyes and a talent to match his own. Roman is convinced he's found the one ballerina that can keep up with him and his relentless work ethic, but Asya has a partner, and she wants to stay far away from the Russian prodigy with a reputation that won't seem to leave him alone. In the competitive world of classical ballet Asya is climbing the ranks and building a name for herself, but all the while she is playing a dangerous game behind the curtain. Roman is adamant they'd be a reverential on-stage match, but will soon find out that when it comes to Asya Radzevich, it's prima or nothing. • 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 by the amazing @mahgadahling • 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐑 Creature's plot is not intended for a young audience. "Bellatrix has a daughter?" "Is she as crazy as her mother?" "Where has she been all these years?" ***** Lyra Lestrange is, unfortunately, the daughter of the incarcerated and criminally insane Bellatrix Lestrange. It's a fact she's able to ignore while enrolled at Beauxbatons, where her classmates aren't as closely affected by her mother's infamous past. Yet her heritage is no longer easy to ignore once the Malfoys transfer her to Hogwarts after Lyra's near brush with death during her fifth year of school. The now-sixth year student is forced to give up ballet - her one true passion - and trade her best friend, Fleur Delacour, for a gang of fellow transfer misfits. As the school year progresses, Lyra finds herself caught between her damaged past and dismal-looking future as she recalls the events that brought her to Hogwarts and fights against the Death Eater life the Malfoys so badly want for her. Oh, and she also finds herself competing in the Triwizard Tournament. And questioning her feelings for her roommate Erica Weasley as Fleur makes a reappearance in Lyra's life. Will Bellatrix's daughter be able to handle it all? She just might have a mid-youth crisis.
