Scarlett watched as her mates life was taken. Guards tossed his lifeless body to the side as she screamed and cried in the arms of another. Unable to speak she sobbed as the guards mindlinked the Alpha.
"It's okay Scarlett he's gone. Let's get you back to your dad" one of the guards spoke softly, blood still dripping from his fingertips.
They half carried her now weak body back towards the pack houses.
"Scarlett, are you alright?" The girls father, the Alpha asked her. "what happened?"
The Guards spoke for her, as they explained to the Alpha the attack that just occured on the boundary.
Damon rushed forward wrapping her in his arms. "He was my mate." she whispered quietly, barely audible. "He was trying to get to me"
