We aren't scared at night because of the dark, or monsters but because at night we have to face our worst enemy. Ourselves. We have no one to talk to but ourselves and when we talk to ourselves, we think about things in the past, present & future. Things that can possible make us happy but then a horrible thought comes into mind and ruins your happiness in a split second. Our mind has secrets and things that we don't want to remember but then at night your mind runs free and pours out those feelings making us scared & terrified. Being alone with yourself is your worst enemy. We aren't afraid of the night because of the dark or monsters but because we are the monsters we fear the most.
