What delightful horrors did the tales of our once elusive and mysterious mythical blood craving creatures bring. It was all in good fun, frightening little stories of monsters who creeped in the night to suckle on the crimson nectar of human flesh and blood.

Until came the eve when they snuck from the shadowy corners of their hidden worlds to wreak havoc amongst mankind. No longer wishing to cower away in fear and be persecuted so viciously, the vampires spent a millenia studying humans before they attacked. Ravished bodies piled up in the millions, humans massacred in the comforts of their own homes, survivors left to bend the knee to a new regime of vampire rulers.

Nearly a century later there remains a stark divide; vampires call the shots and humans are only spared so that they can serve. Now a rebellion of humans wishing to reclaim their independence, known simply as "The Hunters", are beginning to strengthen their efforts. In the midst of the chaos to ensue comes war, passion, love, and shocking revelations.
