Cry

All I remember is falling. With my brother in my arms, reaching back for my mother. Her dauntingly sweet smile, even while stained with blood, was beautiful.
I remember waking, surrounded by a warmth, my brother in my arms, I against the bosom of a boar.
I remember the call, the boy dying at my feet. Covered in his own blood, crying for salvation.
And here I am. Waiting to receive swords of my own, waiting to join my brother.
