Nagito Komaeda is a mute boy. He's been mute his entire life, and fins himself to dream of what it would be like to speak, and being envious of those who do speak. Without any parents or legal guardians to adopt him or such, he lives at a hospital near his school. There, he has a few friends. Although, each day, a butterfly tends to come and visit his hospital bedroom window, an odd occurrence, to put it in simplest terms. Alongside this, Hajime Hinata is what people would call a normal boy. His life usually was nothing to write home about, and he was at least able to realize that. He hardly had any friends, the count only being two, and he usually felt a longing. A longing for a more unique and special life, something that would contrast from the rest of it all. As if to grant his simple wish, a butterfly is usual to turn up by his own bedroom window every day, checking up on him like some worried mother. Danganronpa 2: ReCaptured (Chapter 5-6)

A rewrite of the game Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, where Mahiru Koizumi is the main hero instead of Hajime Hinata, and the death order and people who die in the killing game are different than in the original game. This fic is a sequel to Danganronpa ReProgrammed, a rewrite of the first Danganronpa game that features Chihiro Fujisaki as the main hero.
