Casey and Dawson have a teenage daughter named Lucy. Lucy, inspired by her parents, wants to become a firefighter herself. However, when she tells her parents her ambitions, Casey doesn't agree and Dawson is hesitant. Mainly because Casey worries about losing his daughter in an emergency and Dawson is also worried about the same, but is more open to the idea. Both parents are hesitant as they nearly lost Lucy In a recent fire. Dawson helps Casey to come around to the idea and encourages him to help Lucy to get her dream job. In the end, after trial and error, Lucy lands a position in the firefighter academy. Will she become a firefighter? Or will the heat become too much??
