Donghyuck's brother, Johnny, has somehow managed to snag a job in the palace as the role of a lowly assistant, but hey, a job was a job. When an attempted assassination on the king, however, also caused Donghyuck to almost get killed in the process, the two escape to the countryside for help, unknowingly bringing one of the assassins with them, Mark. The two go through struggles of survival, family, and romance while trying to deal with the revolution going on in their world - and what they can do of it.
