it's after the war after Hermione graduated Hogwarts since she was the only one to return after the war out of the trio they all live in grimmauld place with Luna Neville Ron Andromeda tonks and teddy her grandson and a few others but after unforseen circumstances the malfoys end up on that list aswell
and you can probably guess what happens after that event
