Rachel wakes up in a train station to find that she had been in a war. With demons that tried to overthrow the earth. She finds out that her memory is taken away, as well as her father who had been a soldier in the war and hidden her in the train station, as said by supposedly her parents' friends. When Rachel decides to go adventuring alone, she sees a young boy walking among a stream. Unarmed and friendly. What Rachel does not know is that the boy is the enemy; the son of the ruler of the demons, who conducted the war against human beings. The demon boy, Cole thinks that Rachel is a demon, while Rachel thinks that Cole is a human. Just as they are about to fall in love, they reveal their secrets and slowly, find out that they are of different species. But that does not stop their love. They accept each other's differences and move on. But when Rachel finds out that a human bomb was dropped on Cole, the demons are angry and so is Rachel. Whose side should she be on? The demons, the species of the Cole, or the humans, her own kind?

What would you trade your soul for? The answer is simple for Jessa: nothing. Life isn't perfect, but it's pretty good with her best friend Taylor at her side. But everything changes when the Devil--disguised as an attractive high school girl--comes to town. Soon Jessa--the girl with absolutely no experience with love--finds herself doing the unthinkable: trying to set up the fallen angel with heartthrob Billy Stevens. It's easier said than done, and in the resulting chaos, the lines between friend and foe, good and evil, begin to blur. Jessa starts to wonder: Is the Devil truly her friend? Who is worthy of love? And what, exactly, does Jessa want? All is fair in love and war. - - - A genre-bending tale that's one part teen fiction, one part paranormal/fantasy, and one part slow burn romance!
