This is a diary of an old woman who couldn't get over her first love, which consists her memories since she has been 18 years old.

" here I am sitting on my bed alone, listening to our favorite playlist, while I'm staring at the ceiling trying to deal with emotions and revive every happy moment we lived together in real life or in my own imagination. Oh! that's our song :

Never got the chance
To say a last goodbye
I gotta move on
But it hurts to try

How do I love, how do I love again?
How do I trust, how do I trust again?

I stay up all night, tell myself I'm alright
Baby, you're just harder to see than most
I put the record on, wait 'til I hear our song
Every night, I'm dancing with your ghost

Oh dear, this time each line of the lyrics defines me. In every time I hear this song , my chest feels like bee stings, and I cry tears of blood.

They told me to pull myself together and stop thinking about us, you and me. Because you're not here and there's no us anymore. But, it's a bullshit. I feel your existence, I can see you everywhere; in the sky, in the stars, in the oceans or even in the library. Because, you have been living in my heart, and you will always do. Dear happy face. "

[CASTELLO DI CARTE MAFIA CHRONICLES, #2] 𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 What is worse than being forced to marry a man you've never even met? Drinking with a man who's off-limits and sleeping with him to prove a point. After one drunken mistake, I swore never to entertain him again. But the next time we met, things did not go as expected. He was the enemy, one I should've known better than to involve myself with, but I couldn't resist his unbreakable allure. Sex was not the only reason. It was the way he softly whispered sweet words into my ears and the way he held me. It was the intensity with which he looked at me that made me feel desired. There was one tiny problem. His marriage was in four months. To the woman who called me her friend. 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐎 They say there's pleasure in tasting the things you cannot have. Forbidden passion has a mind of its own when deep-rooted inside someone. I never knew the depth of these words until I saw her. She was the brightest pink rose in a sea full of white ones. She was covered in thorns, a boundary only I dared to cross because I had nothing to lose. Only, she wasn't mine, nor I, hers. Every moment we spent together reminded us of the reality meant for us. Some sacrifices are made for the greater good, but what good comes from leaving behind the one thing you never had and have finally found? She surrendered herself to me. Until the end of our agreement. So what if one of us wanted more in the end? What if the one was me? Prologue In the world of college life, words are often thrown around like confetti-light, colorful, and sometimes lacking substance. They say things to fill the silence, to create connections, and to express feelings that often remain hidden beneath the surface. But what happens when those words fall flat? When the promises made in fleeting moments fade into echoes of unfulfilled intentions? This is a story about the complexities of communication and the silent battles fought within relationships. It began with a simple smile exchanged in the midst of chaos during National Pharmacy Week-a moment that seemed inconsequential yet held the weight of possibilities. She found herself drawn to him, captivated by the way he spoke, the way he made her feel. But as she discovered, words alone would not be enough to bridge the gap between us. As their paths intertwined, we danced around each other in a series of unsaid feelings, lingering glances, and an unspoken connection that left her yearning for more. But with every promise unkept, the reality became clearer: words are just that-words. They mean little without the actions to back them up. This is the story of Elle's journey through that realization, a tale of fleeting moments, unfulfilled expectations, and ultimately, the power of choosing clarity over confusion. It's about learning that love is not just spoken; it's demonstrated. And in the end, it was a lesson that would change everything she thought she knew about relationships and herself.
