Jaci Lowell Evans was found in the woods on July 14 not even days old by The Evans family. The Evans family took her in adding her to their growing family. When she was found she had the whitest hair, the Evans though it would get darker when she ages more but it stayed the brilliant white color causing her to become an outcast.
The Evans believed her to be mythic, in that time mythics were feared and exiled. Instead of getting rid of her they kept her and degraded her for their benefit. When she was 6 they made her their own personal servant, punishing her whenever she refused or did things wrong.
