"There was something comforting about racing down the hills surrounding Bondi Beach, on my longboard and surfboard clutched under my arm. The cold 5am wind, and the empty road .This was good, familiar, I need this."

In 7th grade Oriana and her family supposedly just 'packed up and left'. But everyone knows there is always more to a story than that. Oriana is back after six years to complete her last year of high school, how will she go when the last remaining family member is taken away from her and she is forced to live with her past best friend, the acne-prone, awkward looking boy, who just so happens to be not-so awkward looking any more.
Will Oriana finally open up about the last six years? Things haven't been easy for Oriana and that doesn't look like its changing anytime soon.
