All they were trying to do was survive high school. 

Roman thought he was doing a decent job. He had lots of friends, and was very popular among the theatre kids. But a dark secret seemed to overshadow everything he did.

Virgil wasn't doing well. He mostly spent his time alone, and when he was with other people, his severe anxiety got the best of him.

Logan was doing great academically. Socially? He was doing terribly. He was constantly ridiculed and bullied  for simply caring about his grades. He couldn't wait until he could finally graduate.

Patton loved his parents. At least, he thought he did. He knew he was supposed to. They were supposed to live him. But why did they always try to keep him from his own happiness?

Janus hung in the shadows, mostly. His grades were not the best, sure. Then again, neither was his past.

Remus skipped classes constantly, avoiding all of his problems as much as he could, which often included his parents and annoying twin brother.

Together, all six of them are forced to share their problems and fears with each other, much to their dismay. But they will find that what they originally thought about each other is not what they turn out to be.All Rights Reserved

Virgil Anxiety Black was in his room recovering from a panic attack when the castle is stormed. His best friend, Remus Lucious, has just enough time to help him escape before throwing himself back into the battle in an effort to save his boyfriend and Virgil's brother, Crown Prince Janus. Virgil finds himself running through the woods and unknowingly crosses the border between his kingdom and the kingdom next door. There Virgil is found by Crown Prince Roman, Remus's semi-long not exactly lost twin. Not recognizing Virgil as royalty and only seeing the garbs that show him as a citizen of another kingdom Roman does what he thinks is best. He gives the poor boy a panic attack while simultaneously arresting him and throwing him in the dungeons. While Roman recruits the help of his two best friends to help him figure out who Virgil is and why he's in their territory Virgil is rightfully panicking over the recent events. After a few hurt feelings and a couple death stares the Light Realm learns what transpired next door. In an effort to help both kingdoms Roman's and Virgil (now acting King Virgil) make a truce and put aside their differences. Roman and his two friends, Marquess Patton and Lord Logan, join Virgil in this epic quest to save their brothers, and the Dark Realm kingdom. Like any great tale this book is filled with Fear! Love! Betrayal! Heartbreak and Despair! And let's not forgot proper non homophobic LGBTQ representation! Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. Remus Floyd Callouse, having a brother who was popular served him no good. His parents would compare them to even the, both were negatively affected. Remus has access to internet before he could walk, while Roman was a social butterfly but was saw too many insecurities within him. Remus' humor developed weirdly, leaving him to very little friends- 2, Virgil and Lewis. But after a fight back in the 7th grade, it soon became just Lewis. Remus is very forgetful which is good for secrets. Virgil Storm Westin, being an only child with several successful cousins did no good. He developed anxiety due to his parents lack of attention. His parents broke up when he was younger. Dad always blamed him and he never visited his mom. He became friends with Lewis and Remus in the 3rd grade when they all met. They fell out in 7th and Virgil found Patton who took him to his friend group in 8th. Virgil never told any secrets. Logan and Patton are the parents of the adopted 3 year old twins Remus and Roman. Dean (Deceit) is a single father of adopted 3 year old Virgil, who just moved in to the house across the street. Virgil, though only 3, deals with extreme anxiety, he's a slow learner so he doesn't talk very much and rarely, if not ever, leaves Dean's side and has developed trust issues and PTSD due to the incident that caused them to move in the first place. Unfortunately due to the new circumstances, Dean now has to work so that they can afford to live and is unable to afford for Virgil to go to daycare. Since Patton is a stay at home dad and was very friendly the first time meeting, Dean puts Virgil in his care also hoping that it will help Virgil with his social skills and being around other kids his age. *Completed* Virgil doesn't know it, but he's the son of Lucifer. After his caring mother is killed in a horrible car crash that should have killed Virgil as well, his father realizes that Heavens angels are trying to send Virgil back to Hell despite him not doing anything bad. Virgil is sent to his Uncle Patton's place to live and goes to a new school. There he meets an annoying kid who somehow befriends him, but little does he know the kid was sent by his father to protect him. The religious parts of this story is based loosely (very loosely) around christianity. Pairings will be prinxiety, logicality, and demus, if it's not your jam that's fine you don't need to read. There will be trigger warnings at the beginning of every chapter that will include cursing, death and blood. The main characters belong to Thomas Sanders on YouTube, only the side characters are mine.

After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. And I'm also the owner of the many side and minor background characters that may or may not get names.
