Warning! This story contains subjects that some could find offensive. Also, for those who are a stickler for timelines and realism, these events are matched at happening at the same time, when in actual history they were hundreds of years away from each other. Thank you for your understanding Based off of Celtic, Jewish, Slavic, Norwegian, and Shetland mythology and the mysterious history of monsterous murders in France 1764 In Gevaudan France, people have been found dead, brutally ripped apart by some sort of beast. As the death count continues to increase, the king of France, Louis the Beloved, has sent a bounty for whoever or whatever is causing havoc. Hunters from all around the world have come to find the elusive murderer. After an accident led to a burned down church in Prague, a great beast has been spotted in the surrounding area. Eye witness reports tell of the man-like creature traveling with a young girl. In Ireland, a witch hunt has begun. For the last few years many sightings of unholy creatures have been increasing. Fairies tempting the hearts of men, Selkies shedding their skin and dancing on the sand, wolf-men pretending to be people, and even trolls hunting peasants at the edge of towns. After children have gone missing, and babies have suddenly changed personalities, the common folk have finally had enough. All signs point to a powerful witch deep in the woods. These are just a few of the many monstrous accounts across the world. From vampires invading England, to demonic rituals being performed across Europe. Even talk of a dragon is being spread. However hope is not all lost. These Witchmen, dragon slayers, and priests. These "monster hunters" are being hired by the hundreds. The hunt has begun, and it starts with the beast of France. The Beast of Gevaudan.

IN EDITING. COMPLETE. "There are such beings as vampires, some of us have evidence that they exist. Even had we not the proof of our own unhappy experience, the teachings and the records of the past give proof enough for sane peoples." ~Bram Stoker In our day, people fawn over the idea of supernaturals through fanfictions and novels, but what they don't realize is that these creatures are very real. And extremely dangerous. Especially vampires. They don't sparkle in the light or sweep young women off their feet. They're cold blooded murderers. In order to combat their devastation, an organization of trained human hunters was formed. Each hunter for every creature has a different name. Vampire slayers are simply known as hunters. Victoria Abelard, better known as Vick, was a famous vampire hunter in the early nineteenth century. After a botched job, she was turned into the one thing she hated most. A vampire. Two hundred years later, Vick has learned how to blend in with the human crowd. Her life couldn't be anymore perfect, especially with the disappearance of vampires for over fifty years (which hunters gladly help keep in place). However, her life is turned upside down when two old friends pop back into it. Them requesting her to assassinate the king of the vampires. Just when she thought she was free, Vick is thrown back onto the roller coaster of life. Along the way, she goes through a mess of terrifying memories, horrible grudges, sweet revenge, and love. *Rated mature for violent scenes and language*
