The Changeling

Sophie is a normal 16 year old girl from New Orleans, or so she thinks. She travels to Ireland to follow and learn from a friend of her grandparent's, to teach her the art of Midwifery. All alone in a new country, it is quite the adjustment. But when she spends an evening at a village festival, people start to call her a name she doesn't recognize, and talking to her with words she doesn't understand. On top of it all, she can't get the blue eyes of a boy she danced with at the festival out of her mind.

Suddenly she is thrust into a world she never thought existed, struggling with not only this new world, but her own personhood in it.
She's captured and held as a slave, people are claiming she's something called a changeling, and there's a boy who claims to be her mate... will she learn to navigate this world and her new found identity?
