Eighteen-year old Asora Stover spreads the glimmer in her eye just by existing. With that being said, she is the lead singer of her locally-traveling rock band, Red Couch, with an I.Q. of one-hundred sixty; her chill and authoritative father, Noel, is the founder of their town's Cycling Club; and her local celebrity comedian-brother, Harkan, got a full ride to Princeton right after he turned seventeen! With naturally-occurring wonders having been endured comes something unexpected during a 5K cycling marathon; behind the darkness of the deep woods, Asora discovered an unusual tribe. These weren't indigenous folks, but rather ones with unique genetics. After curiosity fed itself to her, she encountered and fell in-love with the clan's chief's son, Eli; a pale-faced, black matted-haired, and orange-eyed sorcerer in-training. Living the normal-girl, if not extra special, life for Asora just got outside-of-the-box.
