Hi Everyone! I am a huge fan of Chicago PD and Linstead. This story is my perspective of what Jay and Erin's life would be like if One Day Is Today. ✨2nd Book in the Finding Her Place In Chicago Series✨ After Katies departure back to New York, Emma Halstead decides it is time for her to return to Chicago. But why was she in New York in the first place? And will she ever be able to make amends?

Since we don't know much about his past, I'm writing this as I imagine it. Jay has moments with Mouse, shares things with Erin he hasn't before, and he has time with Will sharing memories and such.

It's been a year since Erin left Chicago. Jay is on the verge of moving in with his new girlfriend when a case sends him to New York. Should he track Erin down and finally get the closure he never had so he can move on once and for all? Or will seeing her again turn his life upside down?

The story begins after the season finale of the fourth season, so to speak my story starts off as the beginning of the fifth season. Erin left Chicago as a consequence of what she did. Jay is devastated that Erin left him without saying goodbye and nobody can cheer him up but life has to go on. I will just go into the past / childhood of both of them a bit, as there are still many things about them that are not known. I do not own any of the original characters!
