After Thousands of years of running, i have finally found a place that i can call home. I now have a mother who is not the first demon to walk this earth. Her Children, Edric, Edith and Amelia consider me as their sister. Although my ever growing fondness of Edric cannot be disguised by my pale exterior. He is a young man born into love and innocence. Whereas i was born into the darkest time imaginable. the creation of evil.

Lilith, my mother was considered a monster. Then what does that make me? A monster's daughter? A Mistake?

"I'm not afraid of you," I tell him, stepping closer into the darkness. "You should be," he tells me, sinking farther away from me. "I only cause death to those I touch." ******,****************************** For hundreds of years, they walked in the shadows. Among us, besides, they fought our battles and stood with us. Now they rise up taking over with a power no one understands. Evelyn was born into the world of darkness. There is no sunlight and is controlled by vampires. She knows the law that anyone out after midnight is free food for the poor souls that can't afford the blood banks. So one night wouldn't hurt, right?
