After a massive data leak made by seven powerful hackers lead to massive civil unrest in every nation around the world. One day, out of the blue, all secrets online were revealed and exposed to anyone and everyone who wished to read it. From minor messaging boards and emails to military plans and secret operations long hidden, all secrets kept hidden for generations and even worse... all revealed to the people of the world. And thus chaos ensued. The world struggles to keep itself whole and now Alara must find a way to make sure that her home doesn't fall apart from the inside.

At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough? When Amity finds a way to escape with Luz they set off on a different journey with a much larger mission. To find a cure no matter what it took. Running into familiar faces, good and bad, Amity and Luz find the task much more dangerous than it was made out to be. Being thrown into a war much more significant than they ever knew Luz and Amity must face and overcome multiple obstacles if they want to find the cure this new world so desperately needs. It wouldn't be easy and with Luz hiding a much darker secret of her own what would come of them? One thing for certain, this new journey would be far more treacherous than the first.
