One time when Justine was walking to his apartment he was kidnapped and lost his consciousness and didn't know who kidnapped him.
Once he woke up he ran from his kidnapper and didn't knew where he is and he just ran off. When he realized he wasn't at the Philippines he slept days at the streets of LA because he didn't know where to go.
