A Pocket Full of Stones (Countryhumans)
Cover art is by me! Do not steal! A realm where countryhumans exist, rivals, coalitions, and relationships toss this story of them through tons of unexpected ups and downs. But for now, you'll be following the story of everyone's favorite North American, Canada. After his father made some horrible mistakes while he was a child it puts a wedge in the family that only those two know about. But as he grows older the effects of The Asylum (a place of suffering for Countryhumans after death) take a toll on how he treats others. And after countries get revived from the Asylum by a mysterious cure the majority of the time they gain a physical feature such as wings, or maybe another animal characteristic. On rare cases, there can be magical abilities gained that outweigh any sort of supernatural physicality. But Canada wasn't too lucky, and just got a pair of large wings. To hide the past from other countries, Britain does everything he can to keep the knowledge of them away from everyone, even if it causes loads of pain on his son's body. In this story each countryhuman has a stone with their flag on it. It's one of the most precious things to them because of their stone get damaged or put in the wrong hands bad things can happen. If another country gets a hold of it, the countryhuman that the stone originally belonged to gets chainlocked. Meaning that the country who got their stone has complete control of them, and to show it physically a thick metal bracelet is placed around one of their wrists. ⚠️Also no warnings on ships, so be prepared for anything. As a former believer of myths that roam the world, Hai (ASEAN) had thought all hope was lost, as his life was turned miserable in just moments notice. This would've all changed when one day, he had decided to ditch his own kingdom recognition ceremony, he had decided to roam around a cave where it was forbidden for him to go. There he had discovered a dragon he thought was, one he thought was beautiful with its gorgeous scales and features. Entranced by it, he had formed a kinship that would've lasted. After knowing the dragon was sought for however, he had a reason to protect it. ---- Whilst on travel in uncovering the secrets of the dragon, Sea finds himself in a predicament, in a situation involving a certain crystal. The Lure -- a white stone-like crystal that glows under the submission of a linked mythical creature. Knowing this stone alone made ASEAN realize how this specific item can be misused really badly. Trying to find for it however, ASEAN would have found himself stuck inside a narrative between siblings, and childhood friends that can be broken due to trying to be perfect, and perfect alone. ----- !!
