We always wondered that maybe we were born in the wrong country, in the wrong set of parents. Lagi namin hinihiling na sana sa ibang bansa na lang kami pinganak at sana hindi na lang sila ang mga magulang namin. I never wanted to lay my fingers in the piano. Lil sis never wanted to play violin either. We never wished to be adopted only to be abused after. Our foster parents clipped our wings forbidding us to fly freely.

I ran downstairs into the living room, my heart pounding as I found all my brothers gathered around Nefeli. Her eyes were frantic, scanning the room, desperately searching for me.
