Although she feels as if something, or in a strange arcane way someone is missing. She writes poems about the people around her and the experiences she has, because she feels more secure writing about it rather than talking about it.

Adylan Bailey is anything but average. Her presence swoops you up and pulls you in without you noticing or even having control over what happens next.
Adylan is on the path of self discovery, not sure who she is or what exactly she wants from life, which is also why she doesn't know how to react when she starts receiving letters in her locker from an anonymous writer.

Zayley and Adylan meet, become friends and when they kiss, the letters in Adylan's locker stop.
