Kurt and Rachel personally ask Mason to try and convince Ashleigh to rejoin New Directions, seeing how much time they've spent together, and Ashleigh really seems to trust him, but will that jeopardise their friendship? Meanwhile, Sue... who is still determined to see Ashleigh and Blaine reunited... pulls out all the stops to enact an elaborate plan. But will that go to plan? Will and Ashleigh have a heart-to-heart. While Mercedes is supportive of Ashleigh's decision to come back to school, Mercedes convinces her not to give up on her dreams. Ashleigh and Blaine find themselves in a familiar situation that brings back old memories. Ashleigh learns that Dalton Academy has been burned down.
