Remnant Short: The Slayer and The Giant

General Ironwood of Atlas comes across recent reports of mass Grimm activity larger than any other recorded event. The only problem is that its localized in an uninhabited forest nowhere near any villages or towns. That and the steady decrease in Grimm numbers over several days, as if they are just dying one after another without stop. He decides to send two squads led by Penny Polendina and Ciel Soleil to check it out. What the two don't know however, is that the newfound (and dangerous) friendship between a Legend and a Hell-walker do not take kindly to strangers.

(This is a one-shot. Do understand that this is my way of explaining backstory, and that this isn't truly the end. Also, this takes place during the beginning of volume 1)
