Wilson finds himself lost at sea again. Instead of being thrown into a tropical hell, he finds himself at a strange new land. The place has lots of light and other things that defy logic.
Wilson raised his head after regaining his conscious. The land around him had a blue and white theme. Wilson's eyes glanced at the new world. One thing that caught his eyes were glass spikes. They could be seen through. They are stronger than any other glass. Maybe it isn't glass at all?
One thing that caught Wilson's eyes were the strange plant life. Some grew rocks others were strange alien-looking trees. By the side of the gentle scientist were a pickax and a normal ax. Everything about this confused Wilson.
"Huh? What's this?" Wilson felt his vest's pockets to feel something that may be a map.

I closed my eyes ready for my death when I heard a very loud and dangerous growl, I swear I felt the ground under me shook by it. Floating amongst a far off solar system, a coreless planet lays drifting. Its surface frozen over with nothing internally to heat through its mantles, making life ordinarily impossible to survive on. The planets previous inhabitants have been left to mere bones and dust from the destruction of the planets core, with their creations left to wander the remains and pick up the pieces of the now humanless world. But one day the fabric of the universe warped and pinched, and the planet saw its only piece of organic life in years, hair unnaturally whitened and an eye blacked out, donning clothing unfit for the harsh conditions. But luck had it that this person stumbled across the robotic creations that the dead humans left behind, giving him shelter from the piercing cold of the outside. But not all was fine, food is scarce, and searching for food becomes a necessity to provide for this misfit among those who do not need sustenance. Bearing the cold will likely be inevitable, and after his necessities are met, perhaps this spontaneous visitor could assist those providing him shelter, there isn't much left to do on this planet, after all.

Deep blue water surrounded his pod, which had thankfully triggered the detection system and had made his pod use it's floating devices. The colors looked familiar, almost normal. Nothing but vast ocean, no islands, no distant shores. Nothing. It almost seemed like he was just stranded in an ocean on earth, if it weren't for the giant planet he could clearly see in the sky. Either this water planet was an orbiting moon to that large red planet, or that was a very large moon orbiting this planet. But that wasn't even the worst of it all. Because a couple miles away, the remains of the large exploded ship sat half submerged in the water, lifeless and silent. Some fires were still burning, now fueled by the new oxygen this planet provides. It stung, seeing it like this. It would have been his only way home, his only way of calling for help. But he doubts that any of the radio systems were still working. No long range communication to other ships or even a space station or two. And the systems of his own pod were fried too. He was completely stuck.

But it's my baby and this book put me out there to the point my second book (Fated to the dragon king) got even more popular, so Her Return will always be special to me.
