The line between the two is often blurred and sometimes, it is only by great sacrifice that one can ever truly see the difference." ༒︎༒︎༒︎ Six months have passed since the incident with Team Flare that left all of Lumoise City in disrepair. It hasn't been an easy journey, but the residents of the region have proven once again that they are stronger than their weaknesses. They have rebuilt and everything seems to be going right once more. Until one gym leader begins to have these...dreams. Dreams that aren't really dreams. Visions of a different time and a different life altogether. At about the same time, earthquakes begin to rip across the region, having no explainable source or epicenter. They appear to be caused by some kind of unnatural being. And this is all extraordinary timing for our heroes to converge on the city for a brief competition; featuring some of the greatest competitors from around the world. Naturally, that includes one particular trainer and performer. Now, armed with their friendship and very little knowledge of what they are up against, our group of heroic friends must journey into the heart of the conflict, put right one of the region's greatest mysteries, and maybe even save the world in the process. ༒︎༒︎༒︎ (This is a fanfiction based on Pokemon XYZ. Secrets
Secrets, they fill the world. Discovery, it makes the world what it is today. Kindness, makes the world a better place. Love, makes the world shine when your in it. Fear, there are two kinds. Rational, and irrational. An example would be spiders, they are an irrational fear. To some they're nothing but a pest, but to others they're their worst nightmare. Another example would be if you had a bad past, I guess it depends on how you look at it. But what if you had a secret, that could destroy the human race as we know it? Make the world seem that much more dangerous. More exciting. Add a new factor to everyday life. What would happen if everyone suddenly knew about your dark secret, or more importantly, what would they think of you? Would they push away, or join you on the crazy roller-coaster of life. The Conductor
The son of a world-famous musician roams the land after abandoning his ruined home, aspiring to carry on the dreams of his family. With a bag over his shoulder and guitar in his back, Tempest, a young Jolteon, begins to travel the world, stumbling across pokemon that he'll come to call friends along his journey. One in particular, a shy, quiet Vaporeon, with a similar past, latched onto him, and the two began to grow close, slowly uncovering each other's secrets and breaking each other out of their reclusive shells. Will the brutality of the real world tear them apart, or will their relationship be able to flourish, rising above the harshness of the reality? This is a story written after being inspired by many others. With no intention to copy from other stories, this intricate world has been created for a sweet, adventure-filled, action-packed story, with a touch of romance, exploring the difficulties of life on the run and touching on a multitude of themes. Pokémon walk and move as they normally would, with the exception of some quadrupeds preferring to move as bipedal. The cover art is done by myself! It's not great, but I wanted to at least do something cute and original for my story! Last but not least, interactions are greatly appreciated. I love reading insightful comments and interacting with the people who enjoy my story, or even getting feedback, as I'm very new to this and somewhat self conscious about it, but I aim to grow with time.
