Charli Halpert, the 'final' member to The Specials, has a lot riding on her. Everyone wants to be part of The Special, but even more want to crack there identity. Just one mess up can ruin your chances. The past generations don't like being replaced, so when an uprising happens will the new team handle it? Sophomore year can get a whole lot harder. If she was being honest with herself, it was all cliche, but that's half the fun isn't it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Don't touch me, please." I say and run further to the edge. It was to much. The overwhelming feeling as the walls continued to cave in, which was dramatic for being on top of a roof. "Charli, just stop running for it! Nothing will ever change if you keep running." he said and takes a step closer. I hate that I felt so alone even with someone standing right there to help me. I couldn't do it and the thought of it hurt more. "Not until I can do this," I say and run. I'm no speedster but maybe those two years of little league softball could kick in?
