1. Hogwarts is now a high school. (There are various magic elementary schools, of course)

2. This takes place after the Harry Potter series. Years after. You know how WWII happened a while ago and we still have Neo-Nazis? I introduce you to: Neo-Death Eaters.

3. Due to more wizarding schools being created and more options being available, first and second years share a dorm and third and fourth years share a dorm.
