Toralei is a creature of magic. Her eyes posses a strong power, a power that can make everyone and everything bend at her will. But Toralei doesn't like this power of hers; she hates it. She cannot control it very well, every time she thinks of something, it happens. Her parents decide to lock her away in her room until she gains control so she can't hurt anyone, and of course, Toralei agrees. But she is then locked away for most of her life. Her younger sister, Catty, begged her to come out of her room every day, longing to see her sister again. But Toralei doesn't listen, afraid if she came out she would hurt someone. In a distant universe, many different worlds coexist, never truly knowing about the other. Each world is connected through a mysterious, mostly invisible substance known only as Ink. The purest form of Ink, called Gold Dust, allows those who possess it the ability to fight the forces of evil. For countless years this universe existed peacefully. But a threat has risen. A dark sorceress named the Nightmare Weaver has gained the power to corrupt Ink, turning it black and using it to travel between worlds, drain said worlds of their magic and life, and turn its inhabitants into mindless, murderous monsters. In order to stop her, the heroic Captain Dauntless of Heart Light must gather an unusual crew: an ice queen, her normal sister, a princess with healing powers, a living race car, two animals who are trained as police officers, a monster, and two lovesick robots. Okay, so I'm really bad at descriptions so here's my attempt at a small summary: Basically the protagonist of this story is searching for her friends little sister who's gone missing. Her search brings her to an unsavoury location, and the awful weather isn't helping her out much either. As she journeys deeper she soon realises that her suspicions were correct - an old 'friend' has returned, and this time they don't plan on letting our protagonist get away... So how was that?
