Toralei is a creature of magic. Her eyes posses a strong power, a power that can make everyone and everything bend at her will. But Toralei doesn't like this power of hers; she hates it. She cannot control it very well, every time she thinks of something, it happens. Her parents decide to lock her away in her room until she gains control so she can't hurt anyone, and of course, Toralei agrees. But she is then locked away for most of her life. Her younger sister, Catty, begged her to come out of her room every day, longing to see her sister again. But Toralei doesn't listen, afraid if she came out she would hurt someone.
