Georgie survives that fateful day, and not understanding Pennywise's desire to eat him, they become odd friends. At least, to Georgie.

Pennywise is losing what is left of his mind, trying to figure out what is different about this little boy that makes him not afraid, what makes him want to call the killer clown his "friend", and why he can't just sum up the courage to eat him.

There's trouble at home for Richie, he hasn't told anyone what happens though, not even Eddie. Eddie tries to figure out why his best friend is acting up, in the process of doing so, he learns that Richie isn't as tough as he seems. Everyone has a weak spot. Everyone breaks at some point.
