As the last man on earth, Earl is left to maintain his sanity in a ruined world. Falling deeper into the rabbit hole of his memories, he turns to a single, used journal to cope. Filling it with words and poetry, he manages to find stability through self-expression. 

A poignant story of life, death, and mental health, I intend to explore these issues with a touching honesty, motivated by my own experiences with the subjects.

But, to love someone when things are difficult, when they're not being perfect, when they're messing up, flaws are seen, mistakes are made...that's what really allow you to see how much love there is really. Anyone can love someone who doing and saying all the right things, being everything you want and need, when they're got it all together and it all figured it out. But, to love someone at their lowest, to love someone despite how broken they feel, when they're lost, when you're willing to stand by them no matter how challenging or difficult things may be, that kind of love is a lot more beautiful. That kind of love is a lot more meaningful. Thank you for loving me both times when things are good and bad, up and down. For once in our lives, we would eventually experience this love - the kind of love that just can't die. A love, though not being returned, we are still willing to take the risk.
