I stepped through the large doors and into the cold, dark castle, shivering as chills went up my spine.  I flinched and spun around as the doors closed behind me on their own, almost dropping the knife I was clutching in my right palm.  My breathing turned unsteady, and my heart began pounding.  I heard footsteps.

Looking farther into the darkness, up at the top of the stairs, stood a man in a grey suit.  He wore a smirk on his face.
"Welcome to the castle." he said with a deep, raspy voice.
