This isn't exactly a cliche, I mean maybe it is because how many times has this trope been done? But there is more to it. There are some slightly bigger issues like PTSD that will be faced in this so a warning for that. I'll try to make it as realistic as possible and I have done some research into it and will continue researching before I write anything.
