If you'd told me yesterday, maybe I wouldn't have stayed. Maybe I would've left. I would've been able to follow my dreams.

But today? Today, my dreams don't matter.

Today, there's only you.

When the boy that Elizabeth had dreamed of forever with breaks up with her, she doesn't know what to do. Especially when it becomes apparent that he's even more heart broken than she is.

Liz tells herself to not worry about it. Someday, he'll just be a distant memory and the pain will be gone. All he'll be is some guy from high school that she barely remembers when she sees him again at reunions.

But, for some reason, she can't shake him.

It seems like the biggest effect of heart break is that you learn who you love.

But it goes deeper than that.

Liz learns that when tomorrow's not guaranteed, and when today hurts too bad, all that's left is yesterday.
