It's about 20 years since the final battle and everything seems to have calmed. George and Abigail have fallen into a life much more peaceful than they thought possible. They have two daughters, one of them is 15 and the other 17. To most, it seems as if the worst has come to pass, although Abby doubts that. While she's hoping that what happens won't have anything to do with her or her family, she never expects that her eldest daughter would be pushed into such darkness. It seems too late for George and Abby to try to protect Ivy from it all.
Ivy Weasley is 17 years old and one of the most envied girls of her age. She belongs to a wealthy family, has amazing looks and a bright future, but that hasn't stopped her from questioning everything. She's always known who her mother used to be and knows that the curse that has haunted their family was passed down to her as well. Ivy has a secret life though. Ever since she was 9, she would sneak away during the summer to meet up with a boy that has become her best friend. Although they keep their identities from each other, she can't help but hope that her future will somehow include him.
When people start to show up dead, people began to wonder how safe the Wizard World is. When Ivy finds out that this group of people actually killed her grandmother and cursed their family, she can't help but take on her mother's image and become The Girl In The Mask. The only difference is that Ivy doesn't care if she triggers the curse, all she wants to do is keep the rest of her family safe, even if that means killing. Ivy doesn't seem to understand what her choices might do to her, but one boy does and he's willing to do whatever it takes to save her from the curse his family gave to her. In a middle of a new war, two people who should be enemies will find out that all that matters is living and finding love, even if that means that the rest of your world will come burning down to the ground around you. She's the new Girl in the Mask
