Elizabeth "Eli" Gabriella Dominica Roman, a simple yet perfect girl looking for her one and only. The typical All-American-Girl. The dream girl for many guys and girls. Everyone saw her as perfect; Rich parents, handsome husband-to-be, high position at her family's company, a mansion all to herself and more. Unfortunately, her wedding didn't go as planned. Now, she's left to sulk and think of a bunch of questions that would probably never be answered.

Daniella "Dany" Maria Pierce, Eli's polar opposite. A typical badass with a dark side. Her luck with love hasn't been the greatest. Her life is anything but perfect. She's still as depressed as ever, still has to come up with creative ways to get money. Her family's broken and she's left to take care of her alcoholic father. She's lonely and empty. She's recently been avoiding her crazy ex-girlfriend who wants her back but had hurt Dany emotionally.

But what happens, when polar opposites attract?

Becoming Rory by dannie-writes
25 parts Complete
As Rory Bradford, a twenty-four year old woman who had been previously known for her incredible problem solving skills, found herself making the biggest decision of her life, she discovered that she wasn't particularly good at solving her own problems. On one hand, there was the man that she was engaged to; Noah Cadwell, who checked all the boxes on the 'man-of-her-dreams' list. Sadly, as she realized only days before the wedding, they weren't able to connect romantically, their relationship purely platonic from her end. However, this train of thought was only one sided. Noah, being oblivious to the doubts Rory had been having, thought that their wedding was going to be the best day of their lives. Clearly, he was mistaken. On the other hand, there was Sadie Copeland, a co-worker of Rory's at the law firm. She was the complete opposite of Rory. Where Rory loved planning, Sadie lived for spontaneity. She was the opposite of what Rory was looking for, including the fact that she was a woman. So, after feeling a whole new range of emotions and desires with a woman that she had never felt with a man, Rory was forced to reevaluate her sexuality, which she had never allowed herself to question. Rory couldn't help but wonder if she had accidentally found the woman of her dreams. So, when the identity that Rory had previously worn as a badge of honour began to crumble, she became determined to discover who she truly wanted to be. With the help of Sadie, she hoped that she could finally become Rory. [ cover by the talented @queen_of_sass ]

Phoenix LeFlore: She is alive. Her brother is dead. People are moving forward. She is standing still. He was everything. Now she has nothing. Aza Ainsworth: She is a soft girl who acts tough. She is a warm girl who was treated coldly. Someone made her heart beat faster, then broke it. Can a broken heart help a broken soul? _____ Girl meets girl. Girl doesn't like girl. Then girl likes girl. Could she like her back? Two girls. One story. _____ "I like: The soft side underneath her tough side. Her mind. Her wit. Her cute awkwardness. The way she bites her nails. The way she dresses, like a 90s character, like someone in a movie. The way she smells, like mint, spicy but sweet, like her personality. Her green, serious, sexy eyes. Her laugh. Her name. Her hand in my hand. The stars on her face. The X on the back of her neck. I want to make her laugh all day, want to say her name, whisper it, scream it. Phoenix. I want to hold her hand, want to kiss all the stars on her face, and want to cherish the X on the back of her neck. I want to cherish her. I don't like: Phoenix."
