After his parents are killed in a war, a young prince is torn away from his new home and newfound lover to be trained in the art of war. Now Twelve hundred years later the prince, now a dark warrior, emerges from the shadows and terrifies Equestria looking for answers. As he does he runs into Celestia once again. For Glaciem...could this be the road to redemption? or was this all planned? planned by an evil that nopony has heard from in four mellenia? The very reason for the three pony races splitting apart after the fall of the Alicorn race? could Glaciem be a sign that the four horses of despair are about to run free across the mortal world again?

When a huge war breaks out in Equestria Princess Twilight loses everything she loved and cherished the most. Her friends, her family, her Mentor, her Castle, Everything. Luckily there was still one pony, er dragon per say, that was still alive. All Twilight wants is to see her friends again. She misses them so much and wishes that there was a way to see them again. Then she remembers the world she went through In order to retrieve her crown back from the Now reformed Sunset Shimmer. After she Notes Sunset about her coming and staying in the world Sunset now calls home, she goes through the portal back to Canterlot High. It should have been the happiest day of her life. Despite all odds, Twilight passed the entrance exam to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Not only that, but she also got asked to be the Princess's personal protege. And if that wasn't already amazing enough, she even got her cutie mark! So why wasn't the filly prancing around in circles shouting "Yes, Yes, Yes" over and over again? Being the victim of an uncontrolled surge did not only grant her enough magic to give life to a dragon but apparently also made it possible for her to get glimpses of her future, showing her a destiny she really does not care for. So, knowing where her current path would lead her, there is really no sensible alternative than throwing everything away and changing her destiny to one she can agree to, setting her up for a life of intrigue and adventure, uncovering the many mysteries surrounding her and a certain pegasus, to find out who they really are. Unfortunately, in doing so, she ruins the carefully laid out plans a certain Princess of the Sun had drawn up. But knowing the forgiving nature of Celestia, there is no way that could lead to conflict, right?Complete

This will also be a Cozy Glow reformation fanfic. Excerpt: Meanwhile, In Canterlot, Twilight, Cadence, Flurry Heart and Celestia stood on the four corners of a complicated circular design illustrated on the floor of the throne room. Each was sweating, the magical auras around their horns beaming brightly. In the center of the magic circle, the auras wove into a rainbow beam. Through the open skylight in the room, the beam shot out, facing the moon directly. Luna was standing on the side, looking up at the moon in hope. A rainbow sphere at the tip of the beam was coming closer and closer. It was slowly lowered into the throne room until the entire floor was just a ball of light. At once, the auras disappeared and the four alicorns stepped back. The light gradually died down to reveal a purple figure with large dark horns, curled up on the floor, clutching a silver hourglass.
