The shelter shook as the bombs fell. I could hear the air raid sirens going, even with the bombs falling. I was huddling in the corner of the shelter, with my older sisters arm over my back, holding me close, and I could see my mother curled up across the shelter with my baby sister, Caroline, and older brother, William. Our father left for the war, and there were raids almost every night

This is fiction. The events are real, but I made up the characters for a school assignment. The information in this is from multiple sites, and (hopefully) historically accurate.

Through this process, Simone met the men she would be stationed with, being those of the 100th Bomb Group. They all seemed okay in Simone's opinion- except for one, that is. John D. Brady, the bane of her existence- he was insufferable, always cranky, and for some reason hated her before she could even have a real conversation with him. The hatred was mutual, of course- however, the hatred was quick to morph into something different, something more friendly after the two encountered near-death situations. It was something that resembled love- something that was love, and it was so very clearly the one thing that was destined to save them in the end. Previously- Many lives were lost in the second Great War, I was able to bring them all back along with some from the first Great War and even one person from before that war, but at the cost of being able to have more than one child. My school days over, and a mission to someone with important family information in my wake...I had to leave both the family I hardly know as well as the young man I love behind...for now at least.Complete

One day, at 16 years old, when she was walking down the street, she suddenly heard gunshots and all hell broke loose in front of her eyes. She was shocked, she didn't know what to do, since she thought that the war was over. However, one guy that was also part of the military, saw her. He looked around her age, and when he saw her standing there without moving, he saved her. This is the story about young love.
