I was on the ground. There was fiery pain in my left side. I couldn't move, I couldn't speak, and I could barely breathe. My vision went cloudy. I heard a panicked voice getting closer. A man was running to me, on his phone. He leaned over, saying something to me. I couldn't understand him, I couldn't understand anything at that point. The last thing I saw were his eyes, and then it all went black. He had blue eyes.

Ray and Lance met at a wedding and it was as if there was a cosmic collision that left the two of them wondering what was happening. Ray was an unhappy young woman who felt betrayed by her family, unlucky in love, and battling with her own personal weight challenges Lance is tall, handsome, and wealthy and seems to have everything and yet something important is missing. They are from different worlds and backgrounds and yet they feel inexplicably drawn to each other. Are they heading for doom? for more hurt and heartache?
