Thomas Jefferson married Alexander Hamilton and that's all there is to it....or is it?
A prequel to His Touch
Thomas Jefferson is a freshman in college, he has left his home state of Virginia and is ready for a new life. On his first day of school he meets a beautiful barista named Alexander who he immediately falls for. Alexander Hamilton comes from nothing. His parents are gone, his home is destroyed and now all he has is a low paying job and a college scholarship. In his debate club he meets Thomas Jefferson a man he is sure will ruin his time in school. The men are to alike to get along and so they grow a certain hatred for each other and Thomas tries to keep his true feelings hidden as their college lives progress and their relationship becomes more complex as the years pass. Alexander is definitely not into Thomas but he can't help but feel like there's something drawing them together. Will anything come out of it? Or will the years pass leaving them both alone?

A Hamilton AU where everything is the same except Alexander is a woman and she marries Elijah Schuyler. For the most part it is told from Aaron Burr's perspective, but that might change for certain chapters. I made this simply out of curiosity, and because I watched too many animatics, plus I thought it would be interesting to see how the story would play out with a female protagonist. The character interactions, lyrics, and overall plot could be impacted in many ways, and I'd like to see how that goes. I'm basically converting lyrics into text, tweaking them based on the needs of the context. Feel free to comment on anything you like, any little mistakes that need fixing. I'd been Alexander's best friend since he transferred here in freshman year. Only one year afterwards, Thomas Jefferson, the son of a rich businessman, came into our lives. A rivalry was instantly caused, fueled by the hatred each of them felt for the other. Although Jefferson was entirely a mystery to everyone at school, that didn't stop my best friend becoming particularly interested in him during our junior year. For whatever reason, after launching his plan to put Jefferson in his place, he became quite fond of the tall Virginian. I was a little jealous of how the two began to grow so close, so I spread a few rumours. They were all entirely true, by the way.
