A prequel to His Touch
Thomas Jefferson is a freshman in college, he has left his home state of Virginia and is ready for a new life. On his first day of school he meets a beautiful barista named Alexander who he immediately falls for. Alexander Hamilton comes from nothing. His parents are gone, his home is destroyed and now all he has is a low paying job and a college scholarship. In his debate club he meets Thomas Jefferson a man he is sure will ruin his time in school. The men are to alike to get along and so they grow a certain hatred for each other and Thomas tries to keep his true feelings hidden as their college lives progress and their relationship becomes more complex as the years pass. Alexander is definitely not into Thomas but he can't help but feel like there's something drawing them together. Will anything come out of it? Or will the years pass leaving them both alone?

A Hamilton AU where everything is the same except Alexander is a woman and she marries Elijah Schuyler. For the most part it is told from Aaron Burr's perspective, but that might change for certain chapters. I made this simply out of curiosity, and because I watched too many animatics, plus I thought it would be interesting to see how the story would play out with a female protagonist. The character interactions, lyrics, and overall plot could be impacted in many ways, and I'd like to see how that goes.
