✬﹒⁺﹒YUNSEO has never been satisfied with her life: it's boring, repetitive and monotonous. Every single breath is just painful for her, her passion for her job slowly sliding away. There's always a nagging voice in the back of her head asking her if it's actually worth it, if working in the Seoul Police Department as a Junior Detective, if dedicating the majority of her life to getting this job, was all worth it in the end. She hasn't ever been put on a case, she's never done anything that has solidified her status in the department "hall of fame" - she's just about on the brink of collapse.

⊧﹐◌﹒On top of this, Yunseo's love life is on complete shambles. Having just got out of a serious relationship, her best friend Sunhye is constantly setting her up on blind dates: things she never wants to go on, or when she does she fluffs them up completely and ends up going home embarrassed and tired. This year, it just isn't her year - and it's starting to show.

⊞﹒⌅﹐So, when a new case pops up - Yunseo is eager to the first on the scene to try and solve it, not realising exactly what she was getting into. Finding herself going down routes that she never thought she would go down, Yunseo quickly figures out that there's more than what she originally thought: soon being dragged into a whirlpool of deceit, confusion, revenge and betrayal.
