A family of five who live in their world, soon enter the Real World. As they unintentionally become involved in a classified scheme for the future, leading the world to change forever, from the results of a global apocalyptic holocaust spread worldwide, changing everyone's lives forever, living in a world where the dead aren't really dead, nor alive, but in-between.
The cataclysmic event is known as The Change, or, as you know it, to be the apocalypse, in The Walking Dead Universe, but focusing on other complex characters surviving the Real World.
But, not just the apocalypse. These character's become incorporated in a national organization that affects The Change, before The Change.
(Based on the Same Universe as The Walking Dead TV Series).
Please understand, this is a fanfiction of the World of The Walking Dead, and not the characters. But, don't worry, that doesn't meet it will not involve any of them. Just read, you'll see...
Beware, I have planned a sextet book series for this universe and these characters. If you want to follow these characters, and The Walking Dead story, in general, read all of them.

A stubborn, quiet, almost shy boy looking for his brothers in an apocalypse world with the dead roaming around eating the living. Kill or be killed. He learned to cope with it. Holding out in a hospital after leaving his house he finds comatose Rick Grimes and decides to stay and make sure Rick is taken care of. Shortly after Rick awakes, they run into Morgan and Duane Jones. Over the course of the 11 years of a normal life, Ford had he had been reported missing nearly 13 times and ran away from home, the longest span of time being 3 weeks, nearly a month. He's been out hunting with both his brothers. Normally hiding away in the woods until his brothers found him. Now having just turned twelve the young boy gets separated from his brothers, sees his father get killed, and desperate to find his brothers again. ----------------------------- CW!!! The world is known to be shit. Ever since human race was born on earth the world has been horrible with murderers, liars, thieves, rapists, cowards and abusers. The only thing that tried to control this was the law and even if this people still existed there was a punishment if caught, so it was mostly under control after all. Until law became nothing. With the start of the outbreak anarchy reigned and this horrible people from being only the 10% or 15% of the whole population, they became more and more everyday, until almost every survivor became all this horrible things to survive. But not everyone was a horrible person or at least tough at the start of this, an example? Dafne Peletier, sister of Ed Peletier and sister in law of Carol Peletier. The girl had been abused her whole life from her father and then from her brother. She taught science in high school and would never hurt a fly, but the apocalypse changes you. That's for sure. She was clever, she knew how to yield a weapon, and she knew how to survive, if she kept herself to herself then she would be just fine.
