!!THIS STORY IS COMPLETED AND DOES NOT HAVE A SEQUEL!!

She doesn't know why, but she doesn't wanna die. Does she?

Josephine Langford has seven days to live, only seven, or she'll die with the rest of the group. She doesn't understand how her sister is ready to die with them. She just can't, but she wants to, doesn't she? No matter how much the group tries to bring Josephine back, she's always in the edge. Is she in the edge of insanity, or the edge of reality. She doesn't know, not until she meets him.

Hero is a guy who moved to LA for work. His business is booming and being a CEO tends to have its perks. His days are simple for the most part, like a routine. That is until she comes into his life. She literally runs into him, pleading him to tell her things she should know. There's only two questions on his mind; Who is this girl? And what the hell is going on?

!!Disclaimer!!
This story is purely fiction, and any events that happen MAY mimic thing that has happened in the 1960-1980s in America. There are characters strictly made up for this story. This story is slightly inspired by Midsommar and in no way do I mean any harm with t he events talked about. I will say that this story is fiction once again. Viewer discretion is advised.

Two extremely rich and powerful houses set to be united as one in marriage in six months time. Josephine Langford is as stubborn as a bull and no one can make her change her mind about something she doesn't believe herself, so when her parents told her about being betrothed to another powerful family's heir, she throws a fit and demands that the arrangement be called off. Her parents' refusal to cancel the wedding forces her to take extreme measures. She knows this marriage isn't about love but all about fortifying their family's wealth. She detested this part of her charmed life. Somehow, she needs to find a way to put an end to this medieval arrangement between the Langfords and the Fiennes. She's an extremely private person and with the help of their family's wealth and connections, barely any picture of her and her identity has ever landed in the internet and publications. This gives her the idea to get the full dirt on this Hero Fiennes-Tiffin she is set to marry without him knowing that he is actually put under a microscope. As far as her research goes, the guy is nothing but a ruthless tycoon by day and a complete player by night but she isn't one to judge a person by what the internet or newspapers and magazines say-those can easily be fabricated-whereas if she gets to see firsthand who this guy really is and what possible proofs she can gather to convince her parents to cancel the engagement, it would be the best and really the only option she has. Two months. She has two months to get to know the guy before their wedding is announced to the whole world. Two months of pretension and deception. Two months and she'll finally be free of this madness.

I feel my phone vibrate in my back pocket. I reach behind me and pull my phone out, clicking on the message. I see Kevin's name at the top and I smile. I open the message and as I read it, I pay no attention to where I'm walking. As I read the first work of the message, I bump into a large figure with a hard chest. A gasp falls from my lips, my eyes tightly close and my hand raises in the air to catch anything that'll brace me from falling. When I expect my body to land on the concrete sidewalk, I feel a large hand wrap around my wrist, cathing me from hitting the ground. Tingles shoot up my arm from the persons touch. Tingles that turn into a flow of electricity that runs through my veins, then turns into a slow burn of fire. Fire I've felt before. My eyes slowly open and I'm met with the dark green eyes I haven't seen in the past two years. A sudden wash of Deja Vu hits me and I remember the first day we met three years ago. "Josephine." He softly whispers as if I'm not here. His voice soothes the ache of everything that has happened in the past couple of years, it makes every bad thought dissapear. His name flows out of my mouth so smoothing and easily like I never stopped saying it. It rolls off of my tongue and as soon as I say it out loud, I never want to stop saying it again. "Hero.." **** It's been 2 years. To long of a time to be away from the person you're destined to be with. Stuck in an abusive relationship, all because Hero couldn't leave her mind, Josephine struggles to get away. When she finally reunites with her long lost love, she finally has someone to run to who will help her. She's been through hell without him, but she's also had some triumph. Hero has been through hell without Josephine. So when he finally catches a glimpes at her again, he'll do anything to keep her with him. He can't lose her again, so he'll keep her safe, even if it costs him everything in his life. Reflected by Afternator97 All rights reserved
