She didn't pay attention to the loud thundering or even blinked her eyes when the flash lit up her room. She was unconscious of what was going on around her. She couldn't believe her baby was no longer in her arms. Her pale face and her dry lips could readily divulge her deep pain. She had searched for him in the jungle, but in vain, as if the earth had swallowed him. The jet crash wasn't more tragic than the loss of her baby. They were all safe, but the little boy disappeared.
