For the past year, Kaitlyn, who is 11-years-old now, has been vacationing in London with her good friend and guardian, Clint Barton. While things have been quiet since the Battle of New York, Kaitlyn is suffering from PTSD and nightmares and tries to hide it from Clint. Knowing about her recent change in behavior, Clint attempts to help Kaitlyn but she keeps brushing him off and decides to spend a day with her friend Will Jones. When Kaitlyn accidentally comes into contact with a strange entity known as the Aether, Thor returns to Earth and brings her to Asgard before the Dark Elf Malekith captures her and uses the weapon to destroy the Nine Realms-including Earth!

Two years have passed since eighteen-year-old Kaitlyn Summers has last seen Thor. After testing out her new powers, Kaitlyn finds herself once again reunited with the God of Thunder and the two Avengers are suddenly imprisoned on the other side of the universe. They are thrown into a deadly alien gladiatorial contest that pits them against their former ally and Avenger...the Incredible Hulk! A quest for survival leads them in a race against time to prevent Hela, the Goddess of Death, from destroying his homeworld and the Asgardian civilization. Will Thor and Kaitlyn be able to save Asgard from total destruction before it's too late?
